Sitting Pretty

Shot on film with a Minolta CLE, this series documents the resourceful usage and repurposing of chairs across Taiwan. These objects have been drafted into service as makeshift sign anchors and laundry supports. I wanted to capture the practical ingenuity of the local landscape, where mundane furniture is adapted into improvised tools that reveal the daily habits and resourcefulness of the community.
